This policy describes Fieldwork Dashboard, a private desktop reporting app for its owner’s use.

Information the app accesses

With the operator’s authorization, Fieldwork reads aggregate Google Analytics reports including visitors, sessions, and phone-button events; and Google Search Console reports including search clicks, impressions, and average position. It requests only the Google Analytics read-only and Search Console read-only scopes.

When Twilio is connected, Fieldwork reads inbound call records for configured website numbers. It stores call identifiers, dates, status, and duration. The API response may contain other call details, but the app does not persist caller phone numbers or download recordings or transcripts. The operator may enter brief inquiry notes, classifications, follow-up status, costs, and revenue manually.

How information is used

Information is used to display performance, compare reporting periods, distinguish test or spam activity from legitimate inquiries, and track business follow-up. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train or improve AI models.

Fieldwork Dashboard’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and protection

Reports and manually entered records are stored in a local database on the operator’s computer. OAuth refresh credentials and Twilio API credentials are stored separately in a local file with owner-only file permissions. Fieldwork does not encrypt these files itself; protection also depends on the computer’s account security and disk-encryption settings.

The dashboard listens only on the computer’s loopback address. These public information pages do not expose the dashboard, its database, or its credentials.

Sharing and service providers

The app sends authenticated requests to Google and Twilio to retrieve the reports described above. It does not upload the local inquiry log or financial entries to those services. Fieldwork does not send imported Google data to contractors or a separate dashboard hosting service.

The operator can export a backup containing business records and report snapshots. Credentials are excluded from that export. Any exported backup is a separate copy that the operator controls and must protect.

Retention and deletion

Local records are retained until the operator deletes them or removes the local data directory. Refreshed report snapshots replace prior snapshots for the same source. Disconnecting Google removes the local Google connection credentials but retains saved reports. To remove all locally stored information, stop the app and delete its data directory and any exported backups.

Google access can also be revoked at any time through Google Account connections. Twilio keys can be revoked in the Twilio Console. Revocation stops future authorized retrieval; it does not erase previously saved local reports or data retained independently by Google or Twilio.

These public pages

The Fieldwork information and privacy pages contain no analytics scripts or login forms. The website hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the pages.

Policy changes

Material changes to Fieldwork’s data practices will be reflected in this policy and its effective date.
